The college also alleges the mosque is stealing electricity. The mosque administration asserts ownership based on the Nawab's donation and claims a mutual agreement for electricity supply. The college, founded in 1909, has a long history of promoting education in the region.
A 45-year-old passenger fell to his death from an air-conditioned Uttar Pradesh roadways bus after he opened its door to spit 'pann' as the vehicle moved through the Purvanchal Expressway. The incident took place on Saturday morning near Bihi village in the Baldirai police station area. The deceased, Ram Jiavan, was a resident of Chinhat area in Lucknow. The bus has been taken to the police station for further investigation and the body has been sent for post-mortem.

At least 11 passengers were killed and 25 others injured after a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus overturned in Gondia district of the state on Friday afternoon.
